School Gardens

agricultural, environmental conservation and agri-business management skills on young people through the establishment of modern school gardens in primary and secondary schools.

Young people earn lifetime skills through practical training in marking and laying out of garden, soil preparation, planting of crops, rearing of livestock, harvesting of garden products, marketing of garden products and management of garden profits.


Through this project we work with young people to:

  • Establish similar gardens at home, earn income and support their parents,
  • Establish micro/small/medium agribusinesses,
  • Advance studies and careers in agriculture and environmental management sector,
  • Innovate new strategies that boost local agricultural and environmental development.
